What to Expect When You Build With Revelation Homes

Building a home is a big step, but it doesn’t need to be a stressful one. We’ve designed a clear and collaborative process that keeps you informed about your new build through every phase of the project.

From your initial inquiry to your final walkthrough, our team is here to guide you through each stage with transparency, reliability, and care.

Our Process

Step 1: Get Pre-Approved

We’ll start by helping you connect with our trusted lending partner, Tradition Mortgage, or the lender of your choice to get pre-approved. This step confirms your budget and sets the financial foundation for your new home. You’ll have a clear idea of what’s possible, and we’ll know how to align your build to match.

Step 2: Choose a Floor Plan

With pre-approval in place, it’s time to explore our available layouts. Revelation offers a range of thoughtfully designed single-family and townhome floor plans that blend comfort, function, and style. We’ll help you choose the plan that fits your lifestyle, whether you need room to grow or you’re ready to downsize into something simpler.

Step 3: Select Your Homesite and Finalize Your Agreement

Once you’ve selected your floor plan and preferred lot in the Prairie Ridge community, we’ll walk through the purchase agreement together. You’ll review timelines, expectations, and next steps before we officially break ground. It’s also your opportunity to ask questions and feel fully confident in the process.

Step 4: Construction Begins

Now for the fun part: watching your home come to life!

Our construction team handles everything from the foundation to the final finishes, with regular communication along the way. Most single-family homes take approximately 5 months to build, while townhomes typically take around 6 months. Throughout this stage, we’ll keep you informed and involved, with updates and walkthroughs as needed.

Step 5: Orientation Walkthrough & Closing

Before closing day, we’ll take you on a full orientation walkthrough of your completed home. A member of our team will guide you through how your home’s systems work, review key maintenance tips, and walk you through any final items that need attention. You’ll also receive a Home Care & Warranty guide, a helpful resource with maintenance tips, warranty details, and product information to support you well beyond move-in day.
This is your time to ask any questions, big or small, so you feel confident and ready for what comes next.

Once everything is complete and inspected, you’ll sign your closing documents, receive your keys, and officially become a Revelation homeowner!

Tour Our Model Home — Opens in Spring 2026

There’s no substitute for seeing a space in person. Our model home opens in Spring 2026 and will be open to the public on weekdays, offering you a firsthand look at the quality, layout, and finishes we’re known for. Whether you’re comparing floor plans or just getting inspired, walking through our model is the perfect way to visualize what life in a Revelation home could look like.

Our model home is open daily, from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays, and 9 AM to 4 PM on weekends—no appointment needed.
